Help Using EndNote Web

If assistance is needed, users are encouraged to contact a librarian with questions regarding access and manipulation of their citations. In addition, the link below provides detailed information on all aspects of EndNote Web.

Creating Manual Citations

Occasionally, citations will not be available for export, whether through problems with a database or when one tries to cite a website or other object that doesn't possess self-referential bibliographic metadata. In this case, EndNote Web has a function enabling users to manually create a citation for any particular item. Under the Collect tab, click on the "New Reference" link; users will thereby have the ability to add information for any resource used in their research, immediately savable to desired citation sub-folder.

Below is an example of creating a manual reference in EndNote Web.
