Marian University received an $10,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) and the American Library Association (ALA) to create programming featuring the the PBS documentary series LATINO AMERICANS. Latino Memories Through the Senses was a series of programs highlighting the contributions of the Latin American community through film screenings, traditional Mexican art, scholarly discussions, cuisine, and the collection of oral histories of Latinos in Indianapolis.
