MUAC Mini-Poster Printing

Guidelines

Submissions must be submitted using the Mini-Poster Printing Request Form a minimum of 3 days before requested pickup. Prints will be available to be picked up from the front desk of the Library.

Larger posters may be requested from the Indianapolis campus using the Large-Format Printing Resource Guide. Please note that the required lead time is a minimum of 7 days.

Prints are done on paper measuring 11 x 14 or 11 x 17.

Recommendations

Submissions should be in PDF format.

The size of the file should match the print size. To avoid pixelation and delays in printing, it is recommended to design your poster using a PowerPoint slide sized to the exact dimensions of your desired poster. For some pre-sized templates, please see the Generic Templates section below.

Recommended Steps

1. If you are using PowerPoint, the first thing you should do is size your slide to the print size of the poster. This will give you the best results in designing to fit the space. Here is a video showing how to size your slide:

2. Design your slide using the available space.

3. Save your slide as a PDF. Here is a video showing how to save your slide as a PDF. Do NOT use the "Print as PDF" option that may be available. This will downsize your slide to fit on a regular piece of paper and is the number one reason why print requests are delayed and denied.
