CTL Services Offered

Classroom Observations

Classroom observations are one of the most valuable ways to reflect on your teaching. Our goal is to provide you with formative, non-evaluative feedback that supports your growth, affirms your strengths, and gives you new ideas to try.

When you request an observation, we’ll typically include:

  • A pre-observation conversation where you can share your goals and what kind of feedback would be most helpful.
  • A classroom visit where a peer observer notes what’s happening in the room, focusing only on the areas you’ve asked us to attend to.
  • A follow-up conversation to debrief, reflect together, and talk through next steps or resources.

You can choose the level of support that works best for you:

CTL Certified Peer Review

A single observation with feedback. Great if you’d like a quick snapshot of your teaching or input on one specific class session.

CTL Certified Peer Coaching

Two observations with a feedback cycle in between. Ideal if you’re experimenting with new techniques and want to see how changes play out over time.

CTL Certified Peer Mentoring

Ongoing support through multiple observations, consultations, and personalized feedback. Perfect if you’re working toward larger goals or sustained growth in your teaching practice.

No matter which option you choose, the process is collaborative and flexible. We tailor each observation to your goals, whether that’s student engagement, lesson structure, classroom climate, or another focus.
