The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers a variety of professional development certificates designed to recognize faculty and teaching staff for their commitment to enhancing teaching and learning. These certificates are endorsed by the Provost’s Office and serve as an official acknowledgment of faculty engagement in ongoing professional growth.
Participants who complete certificate programs can upload them into Faculty Success, the university’s faculty information system used for promotion and tenure purposes. This ensures that their dedication to instructional excellence and continuous improvement is formally documented and recognized.
Our certificate offerings cover a range of topics, equipping faculty with practical strategies, innovative teaching techniques, and research-based best practices that support student success. Whether faculty are looking to refine their teaching methods, explore new instructional technologies, or deepen their understanding of assessment and learning science, our certificate programs provide meaningful opportunities for growth.
