Document Scanning

Document Scanning

The combination of Document Scanner and software in our office allows for a multitude of different uses. Its sheet feeder can handle up to 100 pages at a time and can scan black-and-white or color, single or double sided, at a rate of 20 pages per minute. It can scan pages 8 1/2 inches wide and of any length and can also scan smaller items such as receipts.

Once Items are scanned they can be sent to a printer or attached to email or saved in an number of ways. One common use is to save a scanned document as an editable MS Word file. This allows the document to be edited as well as allowing it to be read by text-to-speech software. You can also save to Excel, Powerpoint, or Google docs.

The scanning software is especially good at reading less than perfect copies such as newspaper articles and printed pdf files.
