TurnItIn offers a draft version of its simillarity software that is available to users are Marian University with Marian email addresses. Draft Coach offers users three types of reports for work submitted through a Microsoft Word Online document where Draft Coach is enabled as an Add-On.
Similarity checks for works available online where the writing is similar or identical to what is found in a user's submission. The database includes billions of web pages: both current and archived content from the Internet, a database of student papers that have been submitted to Turnitin in the past, and a collection of documents, which consists of thousands of periodicals, journals, and publications.
The Citations Check is used to help you identify when your citations are missing references or when your references are missing citations. This check focuses on identifying matching pairs of citations and references that you include in your text.
Grammar Guide searches your draft for any grammatical mistakes using US-English grammar rules. Any potential errors will be highlighted, categorized, and listed with suggestions on how they could be corrected.
For more about understanding the Draft Coach reports, see TurnItIn's resource guide here

If you used the Microsoft Word program to create your document, you can easily open the file in Word Online by adding it to your OneDrive. All Marian University users with Marian email addresses have access to both OneDrive and Word Online through the Sharepoint login found here:
