MU-COM Clinical Faculty

To utilize UpToDate via Marian University you have to be an approved user and once approved you have two options:

1. You can access UTD on your desktop, laptop or mobile device with the following URL: https://login.forward.marian.edu/login?url=http://www.uptodate.com/online/content/search.do?unid=^u&srcsys=EZPX348074

• From here you will have to log-in with your Marian Credential. Your username which was supplied to you via email from Marian University COM will most often be a combination of your first and last name, for example my username will be chris.bishop. Your password was assigned to you and unfortunately cannot be changed. Once you have logged into UTD with your username and password you are good to go you can begin using UpToDate immediately. Often UTD will present you with yet ANOTHER log-in screen, this is NOT your Marian supplied username and password -- this is a specific UTD username and password you have to register for. 

2. Once you access the UTD with the above credentials -- you can CHOOSE to create your own UpToDate username and password via the Register Link in the upper right hand corner. Once you register with UTD you can choose to use UTD by going to www.uptodate.com and simply logging in with your UTD password that YOU created. However, this username and password will only be active for 90 days. At which time you MUST log-in into UTD with your Marian credentials to renew your license.

From the UpToDate homepage, Login/Register (top right corner). UpToDate will send a confirmation email that you qualify for the UpToDate Anywhere mobile app. Download UpToDate app from App/Play Store. Log in to the app with an UpToDate username and password. In order to maintain remote access to UpToDate, log in to UpToDate from this link UpToDate every 90 days.
