One of the new things we've been doing this summer is getting a new FAQ page up and running. We're created a site called Ask Us, and it's located at askus.marian.edu. Use this site to find quick answers to the more commonly asked questions we receive here at the library, like whether we have a fax machine or color printer, or what our new service ILLiad is. More questions (and answers) will be added as we receive them, so be sure to bookmark the page.
Additionally, a part of this service will include live chatting with a librarian. So if you have a question, go to either askus.marian.edu or any of our libguides pages and use the online chat feature to ask us questions if they aren't already answered in our listing. If we're staffing the chat, either enter your name or keep it anonymous, select a type of question and we'll do our best to answer your question quickly.
When accessing from LibGuides, just look for the Ask a Librarian tab on the right hand side of the page. click on it and if it's being staffed, ask your question. If it's not being staffed either click the link to the FAQ list or start typing keywords to have entries displayed.
Things can get a little complicated with resources on and around campus, so you shouldn't have to feel bad about asking questions. We're here to help, so ask us!
