Richard G. Lugar Franciscan Center for Global Studies
The Richard G. Lugar Franciscan Center for Global Studies (LFCGS) shapes tomorrow’s leaders with values-centered global perspectives. It sponsors and promotes the study of contemporary global issues with special attention to Marian University's core Franciscan values: dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship.
Each semester the LFCGS sponsors The Global Studies Speaker Series, a selection of guest lectures lectures with a global focus. With speakers' permission, the lectures are available for download through Marian University's iTunes U portal.
