Brief introduction to the institution's mission, values, and culture with Dr. Mona Kheiry and an overview of key student demographics with Dr. Tony Ribera, Director of Institutional Research and Assessment.
3:20 – 3:30 PM – Teaching Expectations & Faculty Responsibilities
An overview of teaching policies and university expectations, as well as syllabus requirements with Dr. Mona Kheiry, Director for the Center for Teaching and Learning.
3:30 – 3:50 PM – Student Success and Engagement
Important considerations for student support and an overview of support services with Dr. Jennifer Plumlee, Vice President for Student Success and Engagement, and her team.
3:50 – 4:05 PM – Educational Technology
An overview of the Educational Technology at Marian University with Edward Mandity, Director of Educational Technology and Blake Ide, Lead Instructional Technologist.
4:05 – 4:15 PM – Action Items for Next Steps
An overview of items to review and consider as you start your new position at the university with Dr. Mona Kheiry
