Fostering Student Success

Academic Support

  • Academic Commons - The Academic Commons offers tutoring in multiple subjects, career development support, library research assistance, and much more to ALL Marian students. The Academic Commons is located on the first floor of Hackelmeier Memorial Library on the Indianapolis campus. We offer both in-person and virtual appointments. 

  • Academic Advising -  Academic advisors provide advice and support to students as they navigate the path to academic success and graduation. Advising and registration information can be found here. NOTE: MAP students should contact their advisor directly for advising and registration information and COM students should contact the Student Affairs Team.

  • Academic Engagement  - To assist in your success, the Office of Academic Engagement offers a variety of services to help you meet your academic needs, including Peer Tutoring, Supplemental Instruction, Organized Study Groups, Student Success Seminars, and Academic Success Coaching.

  • Services for Students with Disabilities - Marian University, through policy and practice, is committed to providing equitable access to learning opportunities for all students, as well as serving as a resource for faculty and staff to ensure that access is a shared responsibility at the center of our work.

Student Support Offices

  • Campus Ministry - Campus Ministry is committed to serving all in their spiritual journey by creating an environment for students to find faith-filled answers to the big questions in life.
  • Counseling and Consultation Services  - There are many reasons why someone might seek counseling.  Seeking counseling is a sign of strength showing you have insight into matters that you would like to improve.
  • Fitness Center  - The Fitness Center is open to Marian University students, faculty, and staff during normal operating hours.
  • Student Health Services  - The Office of Health and Wellness offers students services in the assessment and treatment of minor acute illnesses and episodic care for problems such as ear infections, sore throat, muscle strains and minor lacerations.  They can also answer questions regarding immunization requirements for the University.
  • Housing and Residential Life  - Living on campus allows you to meet new people, develop lifelong friendships, and begin building a professional network. 
  • Bookstore - Whether it's purchasing textbooks and supplies for your classes or picking up some spirit wear to show your Marian pride, the Bookstore has everything you may be looking for.
  • Campus Dining  - Campus Dining is an integral part of campus life and building community.  Check their website for information on meals plans, menus, and wellness goals.
  • Student Activities  - The Office of Student Activities is responsible for advising student organizations, planning campus events, providing leadership opportunities, and coordinating new student orientation.
  • The Exchange - The Exchange is the place you will want to engage with when it comes to planning your career, preparing for interviews, or finding a job.
