With a remarkable 17-year journey in teaching 7-12 mathematics across various Indianapolis schools, Mary brings a wealth of insights into the world of Canvas. Recently earning her Master's degree in instructional design, Mary is well-versed in crafting engaging curricula and collaborating on lessons to enhance instruction wherever needed.
Beyond her professional life, Mary shares a fulfilling existence with her husband, Matt. Their love for travel knows no bounds, extending to destinations both within and beyond the continental US. Dreaming of exploring Argentina, Japan, Germany, UK (London), and France, the couple embraces the excitement of discovering new cultures.
On pleasant days, you'll find Mary strolling through nearby parks or downtown, reveling in the beauty of her surroundings. Adding charm to their lives is Teddy, the couple's small and beloved canine companion.

Mona joined the Marian Center for Teaching and Learning in April of 2017. Mona has been working in the field of Instructional Design for two decades, has a Master's degree in Instructional Systems from Indiana University, and a doctorate degree in Organizational Leadership from Marian University She has worked as an instructor or Instructional Designer at a number of higher education institutions, including Indiana University, Ivy Tech College, Butler University, IUPUI, and Harrison College.
Mona lives north of Indianapolis with her husband, Jon, and step-son, Parker. She likes to stay active by walking her dog, Sam, several miles every day and meditates daily. When not walking or meditating, Mona also enjoys yoga and cooking meals from scratch.
